Hello all,

Yes, it's been a while.

Even if you're no longer interested in the goings-on at Stomp Tokyo anymore, please tune into the notice at the bottom of this message regarding this e-mail list.

==============================================================================

It's not like we haven't been doing stuff. In case you hadn't noticed, Scott has been churning out blogs like pancakes:

Big Screen Cut Scenes
http://www.stomptokyo.com/scott/bigscreen/

Music Videos that Cost Tens of Dollars
http://stomptokyo.com/scott/musicvideos/

And of course, his regular blog:

My God, It's Full of Nerds!
http://www.stomptokyo.com/scott/nerds/

Chris has been updating occasionally at Blue Glow:

And more frequently at his newer obsession, Film Festival Secrets:

You may well ask, however, whatever became of Stomp Tokyo. Our self-imposed sabbatical has been extended by a bit as we figure out our priorities. Living in separate states makes it a bit harder to hang out and make fun of movies together, but we'll figure out something. In the meantime we're posting some of our vintage (dare we say classic) reviews in the new format, complete with comic-booky-type captions and speechifyin' balloons.

See one here:

http://www.stomptokyo.com/reviews/443/8-man-1994/

We'll try to keep these coming once a week or so until we're out or until we get ourselves back to writing new reviews again. It's been a decade or more since some of these classic reviews were first posted, so they should be new to a whole new generation of web surfers. Does anyone even use the phrase "web surfers" anymore?

Where's my rheumatism cream?

Scott and Chris are both on Twitter.

Follow us. All the cool kids are doing it.

IMPORTANT MESSAGE REGARDING THIS MAILING LIST

We've been using this creaky old dadamail system for a long while now and we're thinking of moving over to a shinier, better mail system that will handle things more smoothly. We're going to send a few more messages on the old system so you can unsub or do that knee-jerk "report spam" thing you love to do. Kids, this isn't spam. You signed up for it, I promise. Please don't report us as spammers, just unsubscribe with the link below and we'll all be much happier. Thanks.
